The Author, David M. Matthews

David M. Matthews is a private dating and relationship coach and popular advice columnist who has been featured in Huffington Post, YourTango.com, Fabulously 40.com, and many other popular sites. He’s also an Emmy-winning composer who has worked extensively in Hollywood as a writer, producer, and director for feature films and network television.Inspired by a lifetime as resident “relationship advice guru” for friends, relatives and co-workers, and with the encouragement of his wife, Carla, David decided to share men’s dirty little secrets with the world.

Unlike many other sources in our politically-correct times, David speaks the truth about men, even when that truth is hard to hear.  He doesn’t pass judgement on male or female behaviors or perceptions, believing that gender-specific differences are a reality, whether we like it or not.  He neither condones nor condemns men for their motivations.  He just states ‘what is’ – hoping that this knowledge is empowering to women, and can be a great tool in dealing with the often-rocky waters of romantic relationships.  Employing equal measure of wit and wisdom, he leads you on an amusing yet highly informative journey through the seamy underbelly of the male mind.

This exposé of the male mind is called Every Man Sees You Naked: An Insider’s Guide to How Men Think — the book behind this set of online learning tools by a slightly different name (long story, more on this later!). Shameless in his honesty, Mr. Matthews explodes the myths about men and answers the questions you’ve been dying to ask… but didn’t quite know how.

IMPORTANT MESSAGE FROM THE AUTHOR

“The information in this series of online tools is primarily drawn from my many years as a relationship and dating “guru” for female friends, relatives, coworkers, and the thousands of women (and men) who have contacted me through my advice column. I do not have a degree in psychology or relationship counseling, and all information is offered as my opinion, and is intended to be helpful and entertaining. In order to impart this valuable information it is often necessary to generalize. I am not saying that all men think or behave in a particular manner. There are obviously exceptions to every rule. That said, it is my sincerest hope that your participation here will improve your understanding of the men in your life, and that this new knowledge will help you create and maintain healthier, happier, more mutually-satisfying relationships.”

Sincerely,
David M. Matthews
